On 21st November 2023, the Department of Physiotherapy at Jalappa Medical College and Research Centre organized a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing the well-being of teaching and non-teaching staff at St. Francis de Sales College Tamaka, Kolar in the College Multimedia. The program specifically focused on imparting knowledge and practical skills related to basic exercises for teachers.

In this program Professor Saravanan of Jalappa Medical College a distinguished figure in the field, led both theoretical and practical sessions, demonstrating fundamental exercises beneficial for teachers and also Assistant Professor shivashankari played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the practical session, providing additional insights and assistance.

The program successfully raised awareness about the significance of incorporating basic exercises into the daily routine of teachers, promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The event witnessed active participation from the Principal, Fr. Joseph Thooppil of SFS College Tamaka, the Manager and Administrator, Fr. Vinod Kanattu, along with teaching and non-teaching staff from various departments. Students from the Department of Physiotherapy at Jalappa Medical College attended the program.
