St. Francis De Sales College, Tamaka, Kolar, organized a one-day industrial visit for its students of Commerce and Bachelor of Computer Application on June 28, 2024. The visit aimed to provide students with practical industry insights and was organized by the Department of Commerce and Bachelor of Computer Application.

The students visited Ambika Pipes, Tamaka, Kolar, where they were inspired by the owner Mr. Uttam Jain, to gain practical knowledge. The manager of Ambika Pipes, Mr. Nataraj, guided the students through the manufacturing process of rain pipes, drip irrigation pipes, and centrifuge tubes.

The students also visited SFS ITI and Notebook Manufacturing units, where Director and principal of ITI SFS Rev. Fr. Biju MSFS thoroughly explained the notebook manufacturing process.

The visit was accompanied by Mrs. Gayathri, Head of the Department of Bachelor of Computer Application, and Mr. Arun Johnson Branco, a Commerce Faculty.

This initiative bridges the gap between theory and practice, preparing students for professional challenges and exemplifying the college's commitment to holistic, real-world education.
