The orientation program for commerce students was held on June 22, 2026, in the college's multimedia room. The program consisted of two sessions.

Session 1: Formal ProgramThe first session began with the traditional lighting of the lamp. Mrs. Varsha T.N. HOD of Commerce department welcomed the gathering. Following the welcome, Ms. Farahalam and Mr. Arun Johnson Branco delivered PowerPoint presentations covering the college's history, mission, vision, rules, regulations, and the Com-Lit forum. To motivate the junior students, Ms. Hanaha, a II PUC Commerce student, shared her personal experiences.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Joseph Thoppil MSFS emphasized the significant legacy of SFS Institutions, which spans 180 years both in India and abroad. He also stressed the vital value of discipline.

The President of the program, Rev. Fr. Vinod Kanattu MSFS highlighted the crucial role that the commerce field plays in today's world.

The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Jubin MSFS emphasized the importance of the "Four Ds": Dream, Desire, Dedication, and Determination. He also reminded the students that learning is a lifelong journey.

Session 2: Activities and Concluding CeremonyThe second session featured an activity-based self-development program conducted by Mr. Arun Johnson Branco (Economics Department), followed by an engaging treasure hunt organized by Mrs. Shwetha Raj (Hindi Department).Ms. Stella (English Department) compered the event and distributed prizes to the winning students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Megha, who expressed gratitude to everyone gathered.
