On June 19, 2024, the Commerce department of SFS College organized an orientation program for first-year students, held in the college multimedia room. The event aimed to familiarize students with the college environment, rules, and regulations.

The program began with a prayer song by Ms. Harika Iriel, setting a solemn tone. Mrs. Varsha, Head of the Commerce department, welcomed the gathering and introduced esteemed guests. Ms. Faraha and Mr. Arun Johnson Branco elaborated on college rules and regulations, providing valuable insights.

The Chief Guest, Principal Rev. Fr. Vinod Kanattu, emphasized internalizing life interests, encouraging students to explore passions.

Principal Rev. Fr. Joseph Thoppil highlighted institutional benefits and the importance of rules for self-excellence.

In the second half, Mr. Arun Johnson Branco conducted a Life Skills session for self-development. Ms. Faraha proposed the vote of thanks, and Ms. Stella served as Master of Ceremonies. The Commerce staff organized games, fostering camaraderie among students.

The program concluded successfully, providing first-year Commerce students with a comprehensive understanding of college expectations and opportunities.
