St. Francis de Sales PU College, Tamaka, Kolar, successfully hosted the grand inauguration of the COM-LIT Forum for the academic year 2026-27. The event took place at the college's Open Ground on July 30, 2026, commencing at 10:00 AM.

The event was graced by Renowned folk singer from Kolar, Ee Nela Ee Jala Venkatachalapathi B, attended as the Chief Guest, adding a vibrant folk songs cultural essence to the occasion and motivated to give importance for culture.

The formal inauguration was performed by Fr. Jibin MSFS, Administrator of the institution. Shared his childhood memories of opportunities he got and inspired them to participate.

The ceremony was presided over by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Thoppil, MSFS told students why com lit its for overall excellence of students.

A key highlight of the day was the official introduction of the student leadership team and their oath taking ceremony. The newly appointed Office Bearers for the academic year are:

Mr. Arun Johnson Branco gave report of Com-Lit forum 2025-26 as a Com-Lit Cordinator last year.

The successful execution of the event was guided by the forum Co-ordinators, Ms. Farahalam M and Mrs. Swetha Raj. Inspired by the quote by Ralph Marston, "Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude," the forum aims to foster both academic and extracurricular brilliance among students.
